Author: The Death of Cinema

Andrew is an adjunct film professor and aspiring screenwriter. Paul Thomas Anderson is his film god, although Nic Cage isn't too far behind.

  1. Hey this is Ashley, Andrew’s cousin, just listened to your episode 9 podcast and loved it! You two have great film-opinionated chemistry and I’m hooked! I too enjoyed Get Out, but I did find it got a little cheesy at the end when the main character escapes and lashes out at the family holding him hostage in the basement (the scene where the father is in the operating area). I had really high expectations all the way through and I was a bit disappointed at that point. However, I did enjoy it thoroughly otherwise. I am excited to hear more from you both!
